Chrome and Trinkets:
The chrome parts have all been restored. Here are a few examples. The photos don't
do the parts justice. The running lights and brake lights have been fully reconditioned.
Battery Tray:
A custom fabricated battery tray is in the process of
being installed. The tray design is unique to Barndoor
era buses with the spot welded strap clip and
threaded bolt mount.
Corner Windows:
The Samba came equipped with rear corner windows
made of Plexiglas. This reproduction set is identical to
those offered in the early 50's, all the way down to the
"Plexiglas" logo stamp.
